In a nutshell we show you a new look for your Android handset and tell you which apps you’ll need if you want to mimic the feel. Some of these are a little easier to create than others and many of them can be tweaked to no end. The following details are but the ingredients to which you can create your own delicious Android dish; your results will vary. Which is awesome!

WHY WE LOVE THIS LOOK:
As a blend of text, icons, and photos, this home screen layout is unlike anything else we’ve highlighted/ We’re reminded of the Microsoft’s live tiles look and feel but we’re happy to see the way images and widgets freshen things up.
As is the case with any good home screen design, we appreciate the at-a-glance weather, mail, and other notifications. Other nice touches include the battery status, upcoming calendar appointments, and shortcuts to other apps.
If for no other reason, we suggest checking out the Lightning Launcher Home; it’s the first time we’ve seen it in a GTL design. It’s free, flexible, and a breath of fresh air.
Creating this look might take a bit of time and effort so definitely check out the source link. The creator indicates that a video tutorial is coming down the road.
